are established to gain counsel
and input from qualified citizens on particular
areas of decision-making.
nMembers are not selected to represent a business, district, or organization.
nEach member, and the
body as a whole, is concerned
with the general public good.
nWhere personal interest conflicts with the general welfare of the public, the latter must prevail.
